Job Description
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage quality assurance and control processes across all construction projects.
- Develop implement and maintain quality standards procedures and policies to ensure project compliance with specifications and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections audits and quality checks at project sites.
- Prepare and maintain detailed quality assurance and control reports for management and clients.
- Identify document and resolve quality issues in collaboration with project managers and site teams.
- Review and approve materials equipment and methods to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with contractors consultants and other stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality assurance processes and standards.
- Monitor compliance with UAE construction regulations safety codes and industry best practices.
- Continuously improve processes to enhance quality and efficiency in project delivery.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience:
- 510 years of experience as a Quality Engineer with a minimum of 6 years in the UAE.
- Strong background in quality assurance and control in construction projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g. ISO 9001).
- Proficiency in quality control tools and software.
- Familiarity with UAE construction standards and safety regulations.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Educational Background:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Quality Management or a related field.
