Job Description
Responsibilities & Requirements:
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning execution and delivery of complex projects involving data science AI and ML.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management coupled with technical expertise in AI and ML to effectively coordinate crossfunctional teams and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Develop comprehensive project plans including scope timelines resources and budgets.
- Define project milestones deliverables and success criteria.
- Manage project risks issues and dependencies.
- Lead crossfunctional teams comprising data scientists AI/ML engineers software developers and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Provide guidance support and mentorship to team members.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders including clients senior management and other key partners.
- Communicate project status progress and risks to stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Oversee the design development and implementation of AI and ML models and solutions.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of data used in AI/ML projects.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI ML and data science technologies.
- Monitor project budgets and ensure optimal allocation of resources.
- Identify and address any resource constraints or bottlenecks.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
- PMP certification.
- 5 years of experience in project management.
- Strong communication management and leadership skills.
- Experience in using project management tools.
- Understanding of project management approaches such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Experience in managing multispecialized team members across all organizational levels.
- Ability to define priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problemsolving skills including defining project risks and mitigating them.
