Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Architectural Inspector ensures compliance with project specifications standards and regulations during the execution phase of architectural works. This role aims to maintain quality safety and aesthetic integrity in villa and townhouse projects by conducting meticulous inspections coordinating with the project team and resolving siterelated issues promptly.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect architectural works onsite to ensure compliance with project drawings specifications local regulations and quality standards.
- Verify materials delivered onsite against approved samples and specifications.
- Monitor construction activities including finishes layouts and overall workmanship ensuring alignment with the projects architectural vision.
- Prepare daily site reports highlighting progress noncompliance issues and quality observations.
- Review shop drawings method statements and material submittals for accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct snagging and desnagging inspections ensuring proper rectification of defects before handover.
- Coordinate with contractors consultants and project teams to resolve technical or qualityrelated issues.
- Attend site meetings to discuss project progress address concerns and provide technical inputs.
- Support project closeout activities including reviewing asbuilt drawings and completing final inspections.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Architecture or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of UAE experience in architectural inspection roles.
- Proven track record of working on villa and townhouse projects.
- Strong knowledge of architectural finishes detailing and construction methodologies.
- Familiarity with UAE building codes regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in using software tools such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams.
- Background in consulting companies is preferred.
- Must be locally available in the UAE and able to join immediately.
