Job Description
VAM Systems is currently looking for Technical Consultant & Project Coordinator Cyber security for our UAE operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on email security firewall management endpoint protection and network security.
- Proven experience in project coordination and management.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of various cybersecurity technologies and platforms (e.g. firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems endpoint security software email security gateways).
- Experience with security assessment and vulnerability analysis tools.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CISM CompTIA Security) are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Consulting:
- Provide expertlevel consulting and support to clients on cybersecurity solutions including email security firewall management endpoint protection and network security.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analysis identify risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Design implement and maintain cybersecurity solutions based on client needs and industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cybersecurity infrastructure.
- Stay uptodate with the latest cybersecurity threats vulnerabilities and technologies.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations and training to clients.
- Project Coordination:
- Manage cybersecurity projects from initiation to completion ensuring ontime and withinbudget delivery.
- Develop project plans timelines and resource allocation.
- Coordinate project activities with internal teams and external vendors.
- Track project progress identify and mitigate risks and report on project status.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project documentation and ensure its accuracy and completeness.
- Other Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of internal cybersecurity best practices and procedures.
- Participate in presales activities including technical presentations and proposal development.
- Mentor and train junior team members.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on cybersecurity initiatives.
