Job Description
Are you passionate about scaffolding Familiar with ring lock scaffolding systems And are you looking for a new opportunity Read on! We are looking for a selfdriven Scaffolding Supervisor to become part of our siteservices team at Doka.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of daytoday scaffold supervision of the project and control of multinational labor force.
- Ensuring project schedules are achieved whilst maintaining the necessary standards of safety and quality.
- Proactive approach to safety issues.
- Distribute the workload evenly among the site team.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the project specification and guide the site team in executing the job.
- Conduct toolbox meetings to emphasis the importance of Quality Health Safety and Environmental policy and project specific safety requirements.
- Listen to the grievances of subordinates and take necessary steps to address their concerns.
- Planning the scaffolding scope to a level of detail to enable sound decision making and clear definition of weekly work scope to those executing the work.
- Forecasting all material and safety equipment required for scope of work to be executed safely and in a timely manner.
- Demonstrating good planning and organization in their daytoday activities.
- Conduct and document scaffold inspections.
- Ensure each employee is adequately trained and competency assessed for each work assignment. Particular attention shall be paid to new employees.
- Ensure that all employees working at height receive proper training and demonstrate competence in utilizing fall arrest equipment to ensure 100% tie off is maintained.
- Report daily to Superintendent / Manager regarding work progress / productivity and attendance.
- Evaluate the performance of the work force and report to superiors.
- Monitoring and recording team members performance.
Qualifications :
- Experience with Ring lock scaffold system
- Carpentry skills are an advantage
- Moderate English skills
- Flexibility willing to carry out other tasks
- CISRS certified is an advantage
- UAE driving License is an advantage
