Roles and responsibilities

• Expertise in designing and executing large-scale data migration projects across heterogeneous environments (on-premises to cloud or cloud-to-cloud).
• Proficiency in ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, or Azure Data Factory.
• Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and migration strategies.
• Advanced skills in scripting and programming languages such as Python, SQL, or PowerShell.
• Comprehensive understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and their migration tools (e.g., AWS DMS, Azure Data Migration Services).
  

Secondary Skills

• Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Databricks.
• Experience with middleware and APIs for data integration.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including bandwidth optimization for migration.
