Job Description
- Review electrical designs drawings and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Supervise the installation of electrical systems and equipment onsite.
- Conduct testing inspection and commissioning of electrical systems ensuring functionality and safety.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for commissioning activities.
- Identify and resolve electrical issues during installation and operational phases.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Ensure all activities adhere to HSE standards local regulations and company policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures for electrical works.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines contractors and vendors.
- Provide regular progress updates and technical reports to project stakeholders.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with onsite field experience.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g. IEC IEEE NFPA and API).
- Proficient in using electrical engineering software and tools.
Additional Information :
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems power distribution and control systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving abilities.
- Familiarity with hazardous area classifications and explosionproof equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in challenging environments and under tight deadlines.
- Certification in Electrical Safety or Hazardous Area Installation (e.g. CompEx ATEX).
- PMP or other project management certifications.
