Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Management Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting with a focus on management reporting and analysis. This role will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports providing insights and recommendations to senior management and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare timely and accurate management reports including monthly financial statements budget vs. actual analysis and variance reports
Conduct indepth analysis of financial data and provide insights and recommendations to senior management
Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets and forecast financial performance
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting and analysis
Support the monthend and yearend close process
Provide support for external audits and tax filings
Participate in adhoc projects and analysis as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
CPA or CMA certification is preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role preferably in the financial services industry
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
