Roles and responsibilities
- To supervise all site activities & monitoring of all workers functioning at the projects. Obtaining Material approval, drawing approval & site inspection approvals, Collection of Payments from the respective clients based on progress & Final Handing over / Job close out.
- Managing the parts of construction projects, knowledge of firefighting works (added advantage) and undertaking surveys, setting out sites and organizing facilities.
- Checking technical designs and drawings are followed correctly on site.
- Perform all daily inspection for Firefighting services and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve as per approved method statement, inspection test plan, quality of construction.
- Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales.
- Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and Site In-charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Report, NCR and Site Instruction, SI.
- Control, and monitor all activities related to Quality Management System, QMS.
- Taking care of Quality related documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other documents.
- Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary operations.
- Develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.
- Carry out Internal Audit at the site as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan, PQP.
- Liaise the Technical Engineer for submission of material submittals to consultant.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 4 – 5 years experience in design and building projects.
- Well versed in contractual terms and conditions, FDIC & method of measurements especially CESSM.

- Compliance: Ensuring that products and processes comply with industry regulations, standards, and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, industry-specific regulations).
2. Quality Control (QC) Responsibilities:
- Inspection and Testing: Performing inspections and tests on materials, components, or finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. This can include visual inspections, measurements, and functional testing.
- Defect Identification and Reporting: Identifying any defects, non-conformities, or discrepancies in the product and documenting them for corrective action.
- Data Collection: Collecting data and metrics related to product quality, performance, and defects, and analyzing this data to identify trends or recurring issues.
- Corrective Actions: Recommending and assisting with corrective actions when quality issues are identified, ensuring that they are addressed promptly to minimize disruption.
- Final Product Approval: Ensuring that the final product is thoroughly tested and meets all required specifications and regulatory standards before it is delivered to the customer.
3. General Responsibilities:
- Reporting: Preparing detailed reports on quality inspections, test results, audits, and any corrective actions taken. These reports are often presented to senior management or clients.
- Collaboration: Working closely with various departments, such as production, engineering, and supply chain management, to ensure quality standards are maintained across the entire process.
