Roles and responsibilities
- Lead, support and mentor the team, ensuring they are working in a safe, standard and efficient manner.
- Work with the team and the wider network to harness the technical expertise available and build solutions.
- Keep the APM (Asset performance management) metrics achieved and raise the bar on all performance and compliance KPIs
- Support the Reliability Engineering Manager as they work with the Site Safety department & Site Leadership to implement, record and audit safety and statutory compliance programs to provide a safe working environment for all staff.
- Implement network standards and focus on preventative maintenance to provide a high level of equipment availability to our internal customers.
- Ensure sufficient technical coverage is available for the shifts they own by organizing and directing the training program for the team.
- Organize local projects or support MENA level projects as assigned by the manager.
- Demonstrate practical engineering experience including a supervisory role managing people.
- Have and experience of automated equipment including packaging machinery, sortation and conveyor systems.
- Have an experience of working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement vendor annual maintenance contracts AMCs with appropriate service levels for equipment.
- Manage a team of Maintenance Supervisors & Technician’s. Define goals, priorities, organized staff planning, staff training to ensure service levels.
- Keep people working in a safe environment, applying the Amazon Safety Policy and working with the Safety team to improve safety on site.
A day in the life
- Daily Monitor and respond to RME customers requests through trouble ticketing system and always show customer obsession behavior.
- Ensure quality service received by annual maintenance contract vendor and verify that through raising any fail against the SLA (service level agreement)
Desired candidate profile
3+ years of using a computer maintenance management system in planning, scheduling and auditing overall facilities/maintenance activities experience
3+ years of data analysis in the facilities maintenance program, specifically in asset management and spare part optimization experience
3+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications experience
High school or equivalent diploma
Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Knowledge of diverse MHS, industrial mechanical and electrical systems and automation, controls and robotics systems
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler working within an industrial maintenance complex, manufacturing/distribution industries, or equivalent experience
Experience in material handling systems (MHS) installation, operation and maintenance
