Roles and responsibilities
You will own the vision and direction for Pricing. You will directly interact with central tech and non-tech pricing teams to create and execute innovative Pricing solutions to improve our customer’s experience. You will conceive, build, launch, and grow your services, continually evaluating opportunities to drive ongoing improvement and innovation activity. This position has regular exposure to leadership and key stakeholders.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Partnering with key stakeholders to define pricing strategy
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs for speed to market, performance and features
- Addressing barriers through problem solving and coordination with stakeholders
- Develop and manage high quality product roadmaps based on your service vision and strategy
- Gaining support for your strategy and roadmap from stakeholders by writing narratives and influencing peers and senior leadership
- Creating program goals and related metrics, track progress and manage through obstacles to achieve your objectives
- Communicating performance, articulating root-cause analysis and linking to specific improvement areas
- Developing user experience goals, stories and requirements that can be used to develop new products and services as well as improve existing processes
- Leading business planning processes
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products

- Experience in developing pricing models and forecasting revenue impact.
4. Financial Acumen
- In-depth understanding of financial concepts such as profit margins, cost structures, and ROI.
- Ability to develop pricing strategies that balance profitability with competitive positioning.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Strong collaboration skills to work with sales, marketing, product management, and finance teams to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with overall business goals.
- Experience in presenting pricing recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
6. Negotiation Skills
- Strong negotiation abilities to work with customers, partners, and internal teams to reach mutually beneficial pricing agreements.
- Ability to handle pricing discussions in sales contracts, particularly with high-value clients or complex deals.
7. Pricing Software and Tools
- Proficiency in using pricing management software (e.g., PROS, Zilliant, or Pricefx) and other pricing optimization tools.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to integrate pricing strategies within the company’s workflow.
8. Customer Insights and Behavioral Understanding
- Understanding customer behaviors, preferences, and willingness to pay to ensure pricing models reflect customer demand.
- Experience in pricing segmentation and tailoring strategies based on customer profiles.
9. Project Management
- Strong project management skills to lead pricing initiatives from conception to execution.
- Ability to handle multiple pricing projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
10. Communication and Presentation Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex pricing strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in presenting pricing strategies and analysis to senior management or executive teams.
