Roles and responsibilities
- Greet guest, inquire into their appointment status and relay information to associated spa therapist.
- Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring that all supplies and equipment are available and laid out according to procedure.
- Oversee the cleanliness and sanitization of the premises and ensure that any wasted material is properly disposed of.
- To ensure a pleasant experience for guest, Spa & Health Club attendant frequently inspect and clean facility areas, especially the spa lobby, GYM, Pool area and treatment rooms.
- Should help massage therapists and aestheticians prepare for sessions and replenish supplies such as bathrobes and linens in between treatments.
- Should monitor the inventory carefully, creating logs and assisting with supply procurement as well as checking for equipment that requires repair.
- Should provide friendly, professional assistance to the guest and should also provide information about the Spa & Health Club, addressing inquiries and complaints, and directing guest toward amenities.
- Greet all guests upon arrival, distribute towels, offer assistance with seating, and delivering consistent guest service, exceeding guest expectations, and providing all other supporting services.
- Knowledgeable of pool facility such as length and depth of all pools, how many laps it takes to make complete a mile in meters and feet etc.
- Oversee members in order to ensure that they are using equipment in the gym in a safe manner.
- Maintain locker rooms in a tidy manner.
- Follow the health and safety procedures of the hotel.
What We Need From You
Should have some experience in spa & Health club and must have basic knowledge about the chemical and department. Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment. Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent guest service skills. Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality. Excellent communication and listening skills. Must be a team player.

2. Facility Maintenance and Cleanliness
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensuring that the spa area is clean and hygienic at all times, including treatment rooms, relaxation areas, locker rooms, and bathrooms.
- Sanitizing Equipment: Cleaning and disinfecting spa equipment, such as massage tables, hot tubs, saunas, and other treatment tools.
- Tidying Public Spaces: Keeping common areas like lounges, changing rooms, and the front desk area neat and organized.
- Restocking Supplies: Ensuring that towels, linens, robes, slippers, and other spa essentials are replenished as needed.
3. Supporting Spa Treatments
- Assisting Therapists: Providing assistance to spa therapists by preparing treatment rooms, setting up equipment, or bringing necessary items for treatments.
- Ensuring Guest Comfort: Ensuring that guests are comfortable before, during, and after their treatments, including providing water, adjusting the temperature, and offering post-treatment advice.
- Post-Treatment Assistance: Assisting guests in the relaxation area, offering beverages such as tea or water, and ensuring they feel comfortable before leaving.
4. Handling Client Personal Items
- Locker Room Management: Directing guests to the locker room and helping them store personal belongings safely.
- Offering Privacy: Ensuring that guests have privacy when changing and that they are provided with proper attire like robes and slippers.
- Managing Towels and Linens: Ensuring that clean towels and linens are available for guests and handling soiled items promptly.
5. Customer Relations and Communication
- Providing Excellent Customer Service: Delivering friendly, professional, and attentive service, ensuring guests feel valued and comfortable throughout their spa experience.
- Addressing Concerns: Responding to guest inquiries or concerns about the spa facilities or services, and ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly.
- Guest Feedback: Collecting feedback from guests about their experience and passing along any comments or suggestions to the management team.
6. Safety and Health Protocols
- Ensuring Spa Safety: Adhering to all health and safety protocols, ensuring that all spa equipment is in good working condition, and monitoring guests’ well-being during treatments (e.g., temperature of hot tubs or saunas).
- Emergency Procedures: Being aware of emergency procedures, such as first aid or evacuations, and responding appropriately if necessary.
- Maintaining Hygiene Standards: Following strict hygiene practices, including the proper handling of linens, towels, and spa equipment to maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination.
7. Spa Environment and Ambiance
- Creating a Relaxing Atmosphere: Ensuring that the spa environment remains tranquil, including controlling the lighting, music, and temperature to create a serene atmosphere.
- Aromatherapy: Managing aromatherapy oils or diffusers if applicable, enhancing the sensory experience for guests.
- Managing Spa Amenities: Ensuring the availability of amenities such as herbal teas, water, and magazines for guests in the relaxation or waiting areas.
