Job Description
- Experienced in various medium to largesized pump stations and storage tanks (Potable water Firefighting irrigation sewage stormwater and drainage pump stations) on Infrastructure projects
- Experienced in Infrastructure plants such as wastewater treatment plants Sewage treatment plants RO plants and District Cooling plants.
- Sizing of mechanical process equipment including pumps control valve sizing storage tank sizing head loss calculations valve chambers surge vessel sizing NPSH calculations HVAC calculations Chiller yard sizing chilled water pump sizing cooling towers etc
- Prepare equipment schedule pump room plan elevations site plan and key plan of plants.
- Hydraulic Modelling using WANDA WaterCAD infowater etc
- Ability to work with the design lead and follow up the approval process interfacing with the project team Clients and Stakeholders.
- An indepth and strong understanding of Abu Dhabi/Dubai/UAE/ KSA and Qatar Authority Guidelines is a must
- Experienced in Autodesk 2D 3D Revit MEP and BIM and an indepth understanding of relevant hydraulic software is a must
- Understanding of masterplan requirements in terms of plant footprints coordination with wet roads transportation landscape and building teams
- Strong infrastructure engineering background with previous experience on infrastructure projects with technical report writing skills and developing specifications data sheets
- Review/approve any key technical submittals related to plants
- Work towards digitalization skills innovations and improvements to manage workload and accomplish deliverables across individuals teams and projects
- Able to work with multiple teams with diverse backgrounds on geographically and culturally diverse teams
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements :
- Design of mechanical systems and plants using Revit MEP
- Experience and skills including ProjectWise Infraworks Navisworks BIM etc
- More than 35 years of experience in Infrastructure design only.

- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
