Roles and responsibilities
A Radiographer (also known as a Radiologic Technologist) is a healthcare professional who specializes in performing diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and other imaging techniques. Radiographers work alongside physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to help diagnose and treat medical conditions by capturing clear, detailed images of the inside of the body.
We are seeking a qualified and licensed Radiographer to join our team. The ideal candidate should hold a valid DOH license and possess hands-on experience in operating C-Arm X-ray machines along with other radiology equipment. This role involves working closely with our medical team to provide high-quality imaging services to support patient diagnostics and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate C-Arm X-ray machines and other radiology equipment effectively and safely.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images according to established protocols.
- Maintain equipment and follow safety guidelines to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during imaging procedures.
- Manage patient records, imaging results, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Adhere to DOH regulations, protocols, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Valid DOH Radiographer license.
- Proven experience with C-Arm X-ray machines and other radiology equipment.
- Strong understanding of radiology imaging techniques and safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and patient-centered approach.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in operating various radiology equipment, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and portable X-rays.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
