Roles and responsibilities

• Process Analysis : Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes to identify opportunities for automation.
• Solution Design : Design and develop automation solutions using low/ no-code automation tools, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Implementation : Implement automation solutions, including configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Testing and Quality Assurance : Develop and execute test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of solutions.
• Maintenance and Optimization : Monitor and maintain automation solutions, making necessary adjustments and optimizations to ensure ongoing performance.
• Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand needs and provide effective solutions.
• Knowledge Sharing and Documentation : Share knowledge and best practices related to automation technologies and methodologies to empower others to do the same for their work within a governance framework.
  

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• Expertise in Microsoft 365 tools, Power Apps, Power BI, and SharePoint, outlook, teams, slack, Workday, JIRA , ATS (applicant tracking systems)
• At least 5-7 years ’ experience building solutions with RPA tools Must Have: Power Platforms (e.g., Power Automate flow/desktop, Power Apps, Power BI ) Good to have: Blue prism , Celonis
• Experience customizing SharePoint lists and disparate systems with PowerApps.
• Experience developing PowerApps model.
• Proficient in creating PowerShell scripts , and coding languages such as Python , Vb.net, JavaScript.
• Setting up automation environment with strict adherence to Sox compliance measures
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities
  

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Experience building automation scripts (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• Microsoft Certified : Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
• LLM / NLP knowledge preferably implemented in a people tech use case
• Proven expertise in working with API, DB (Oracle, SQL server), PDF, AI Builder and Image recognition in Power Automate Desktop
• knowledge of Azure Cloud

Desired candidate profile

1. Automation Design and Implementation:

   • Process Mapping and Analysis: Work with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify tasks that can be automated. This involves mapping workflows and analyzing current operations to identify areas of improvement.
   • System Design: Design automation systems, ensuring they align with business requirements. This may include designing workflows, developing scripts, and selecting appropriate tools or platforms.
   • Tool Selection and Integration: Select automation tools and technologies (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism for robotic process automation (RPA), or Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet for IT infrastructure automation). Integrate these tools with existing business systems and infrastructure.
   • Development and Coding: Write scripts, code, and programs that automate repetitive tasks. Proficiency in languages like Python, JavaScript, Bash, or PowerShell may be required, depending on the automation task.

2. Testing and Quality Assurance:

   • Testing Automation: Ensure that automated systems and scripts are tested thoroughly before deployment. This includes conducting unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the automation works as intended.
   • Error Handling and Debugging: Identify and resolve issues in automation workflows, such as system errors, failures, or bugs, and optimize the code or system to improve its reliability.
   • System Monitoring: Monitor automated systems post-deployment to ensure they continue to function correctly and address any operational issues that arise.

3. Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement:

   • Efficiency Improvements: Continuously analyze and refine automation processes to improve performance, streamline operations, and minimize errors or downtime.
   • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze data on the performance of automated systems to assess their effectiveness. Use insights from data to refine and enhance automation strategies.
   • Feedback Loops: Gather feedback from business users or departments on the effectiveness of automated processes and make adjustments based on this feedback.

4. Collaboration and Training:

   • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with other teams such as IT, business analysts, operations, and developers to ensure that automation solutions are aligned with the organization’s overall objectives.
   • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate automation progress, benefits, and challenges to stakeholders, including business leaders and technical teams.
   • Training and Knowledge Transfer: Provide training and guidance to employees and teams on how to use new automation systems and tools. Help build internal expertise in automation solutions.

5. Automation Maintenance and Support:

   • Ongoing Support: Provide ongoing support for automated systems, ensuring that they are updated, maintained, and fixed as needed to adapt to changing business needs or technological advancements.
   • Version Control and Updates: Maintain version control for scripts and automation tools, ensuring that all systems are up-to-date with the latest features, patches, and security fixes.

6. Documentation and Compliance:

   • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation workflows, scripts, systems, and processes. This ensures that automation systems are well-understood and can be maintained or scaled over time.
   • Compliance and Security: Ensure that automation processes comply with organizational policies, industry regulations, and security standards, especially when handling sensitive data or critical systems.
