Roles and responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day to day activities of facilitators engaged in receiving; transporting, stacking, order filling, shipping and maintaining stock records in warehouse to meet demands
- Plan, organize, implement and evaluate the Warehouse operations and supervise the distribution Centre activities to ensure smooth warehouse operations
- Develop and maintain performance metrics, working schedules, duties and evaluations for Warehouse team members
- adhering to standard safety and quality operational policies and procedures
- Supervise and coordinate data entry of inventory receipts and moves and maintain the computerized inventory control system
- Conduct daily cycle counts of stocked items to maintain storage space for incoming inventory; production stock and offsite inventory adhering to storage design principles
- Maintain high customer service standards for both internal and external customers.
