Roles and responsibilities
You will be responsible to conduct gardening duties with care and concern for the environment of the property by using the tools provided by the hotel in a safe and professional manner. You will also maintain and look after the tools supplied by the hotel and correctly deposit them after finishing work. You must clean all work areas after finishing assigned tasks and report potential dangers as soon as possible.
Qualifications
- One-year operating experience in gardening.
- Basic knowledge in landscaping, gardening and climates.
- Ensure the hotel/resort gardens is in health and safety standard with minimal supervision.

1. Knowledge of Plants and Gardening Techniques
- In-depth understanding of various plant species, their growth cycles, and the care they require.
- Familiarity with planting, pruning, weeding, fertilizing, and watering techniques tailored to different types of plants (e.g., flowers, shrubs, trees, vegetables).
- Understanding of soil types and conditions, and how to improve or amend soil for optimal plant growth.

- Creating and maintaining compost to recycle organic waste and improve soil quality.
