Roles and responsibilities
The Logistics Associate supports the optimization of supply chain processes for Retail Discount by assisting in the movement of goods and materials from suppliers to customers. This role involves coordinating the day-to-day operations of Sourcing Hubs, liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders, and helping to improve logistics, replenishment, and distribution activities. The Logistics Coordinator ensures the efficient and timely delivery of products, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the supply chain and helping to meet business objectives.
ROLE PROFILE
- Assist in implementing supply chain plans.
- Support supply chain solutions to meet merchandise and store operational needs.
- Address risks within the supply chain to ensure safe handling and operational efficiency of inventory.
- Coordinate and assists with private label supply chain and inventory processes.
- Coordinate with sourcing hubs across regions to drive cost-effective logistics solutions.
- Monitor logistics operations to minimize delays, prevent stockouts, and optimize resource allocation.
- Ensure timely stock replenishment and manage distribution center stock days to meet business goals.
- Support the creation and communication of a database to ensure supplier compliance with customs requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply chain or Business Administration
- 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong business communication and presentation skills
- Stay updated on customs regulations.
