You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs the Assistant Manager, Supply Chain Administration, you will assist the Manager, Supply Chain Administration in planning, organising, and managing the systems and processes within the supply chain team to provide efficient and professional service to all stakeholders. You will proactively approach tasks, seeking opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation, and a strong understanding of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), as well as being process-driven, and having a logical approach to procurement.
Within this role, you will also support the supply chain team from a systems perspective, ensuring accurate information, metrics, and KPIs, and maintain data within relevant libraries and tables, as well as plan, schedule, initiate, monitor, and provide quality assurance for procurement and contract activities, requiring independent professional judgment under the general direction of the Manager, Supply Chain Administration. This role also involves supporting the supply chain operation and broader business from a systems and process standpoint, ensuring workflows and policies are correctly mapped to the system. Other responsibilities will include maintaining the integrity of the item master data across several procurement business functions, whilst ensuring that data integrity is secure at all levels of the transactions. You will work with IT on procurement system upgrades and any project involving procurement systems data and develop KPIs and strategies across the procurement business function to assist in supporting and driving decision making.
About You
The successful Assistant Manager, Supply Chain Administration candidate will have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in either computer science, MIS systems, business administration, or something similar. You will also be computer literate with a strong background with ERP & other system solutions (JDE, Coupa), as well as a strong command of Excel. You will also have the ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardised situations. Strong analytical skills are a must, as well as strong communication, and being detailed and organized. Having experience with ISO and other audit standards are an advantage.
