Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and organized Assistant Store Keeper to join our team. The Assistant Store Keeper will be responsible for receiving storing and issuing materials equipment and other items from the stockroom. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the store area is kept clean and organized.
Responsibilities:
- Receive unload and shelve supplies
- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Keep the store area clean and organized
- Assist in conducting regular stock counts
- Prepare and maintain records of merchandise received and distributed
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an Assistant Store Keeper or similar role
- Knowledge of inventory management and control procedures
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and Navisworks. Proficiency in creating 3D models, Piping Isometrics, GA drawings, and Piping Layouts. In-depth knowledge of Piping BOM, MTO, and Piping Material Specifications (PMS). Familiarity with piping support systems and basic understanding of stress analysis. Solid understanding of P&ID for boilers and power plants. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions. Strong leadership abilities to manage and guide a team towards successful project completion.
Education
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or Bachelor s Degree in Engineering (BE) with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the design stream.
