Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

A Sales Executive, Security will be reporting directly to the Sales Director, Control, Security& Digital Solution - GCC. As part of a growing team, you will be responsible for delivering a sales target in UAE across the Security portfolio.

You will be concentrated on selling new construction jobs growing our market share with existing and new clients in focused verticals. As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to generate profitable business. Your focus on Technology driven solutions, CCTV, Access Control System, Command Control Center Solution, Analytics and other ELV solution.

How You Will Do It

  • Qualify and close new sales opportunities by creating competitive value proposition, high quality proposals taking part in tendering and bidding process which will be managed by pre-sales team.
  • Demonstrate your expertise by differentiating Johnson Controls, leveraging your market understanding of our competitors’ strategies, products, solutions and services.
  • Focused to seek and develop long term customer relationships, and self-motivated to drive your territory growth.
  • Determined and consistent in your approach to work, managing multiple priorities simultaneously because of your excellent planning, and time management skills.
  • Drive your business ensuring 360 degrees stakeholder mapping from Contractor, Consultant and End User levels that will result in ensuring higher winning rates and driving your plan.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics or Instrumentation
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Security Systems Sales in UAE market
  • Experience in designing technical solutions, select equipment and advise customers on solutions
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Determined, results driven, strong sales drive
  • Deliver technical solution presentation
  • Fluent language skills in English
  • UAE driving license is must

  • Prospecting: Identifying potential leads and reaching out to new prospects through various methods such as cold calling, networking, social media, or attending industry events.
  • Sales Presentations: Presenting product offerings to potential clients in a clear, persuasive, and engaging manner.
  • Negotiation: Negotiating deals, prices, and terms with clients to secure sales while ensuring that company goals and profitability are met.
  • Closing Deals: Ability to close sales effectively by overcoming objections, addressing client concerns, and finalizing agreements.
  • Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the company’s products or services, their features, benefits, and how they meet customer needs.

2. Communication Skills

  • Verbal Communication: Strong communication skills to articulate the value proposition of the product, answer questions, and handle objections effectively.
  • Written Communication: Writing clear, concise, and persuasive emails, proposals, and other sales materials.
  • Active Listening: Listening attentively to customers to understand their needs, pain points, and requirements, which helps in offering the most suitable solutions.
  • Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction.

3. Customer Focus

  • Customer Needs Analysis: Understanding customer requirements and tailoring solutions that best fit their needs.
  • Customer Service: Providing exceptional service throughout the sales process, from initial contact to post-sales support, ensuring a positive client experience.
  • Problem Solving: Addressing customer concerns and issues promptly and effectively, offering solutions that meet their expectations.

4. Persuasion and Influence

  • Persuasive Techniques: Using persuasive communication and tactics to influence potential clients’ purchasing decisions.
  • Building Trust: Establishing trust with clients by being honest, reliable, and knowledgeable, which can lead to long-term partnerships.
  • Overcoming Objections: Effectively handling objections and doubts from potential customers, turning negative situations into positive outcomes.

5. Time Management

  • Prioritization: Managing multiple leads, follow-ups, and meetings efficiently, ensuring that each client is given the appropriate level of attention.
  • Goal Setting: Setting and working towards daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and goals.
  • Efficiency: Organizing work to optimize time and resources, ensuring that no opportunities are missed.
