Job Description
- Position: HSE Engineer Civil & Building work
- Experience Required: 10 years
- Location: Abu Dhabi
- Type: Fulltime
- Salary:AED per month
- Joining required: Immediately
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Engineer to join our team and oversee all Health Safety and Environmental aspects of our civil and building projects with a focus on substation and MEP work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety and a thorough understanding of local and international safety regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in HSE management in the construction industry with a focus on civil and building projects with substation and MEP involved in it
- NEBOSH IOSH OSHA ISOor equivalent certification
- Accident Investigation certification from 3rd party
- ADNOC approval ad HSE Engineer will be add on
- Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards
- Proven ability to develop and implement HSE policies and procedures
- Experience in conducting safety training and incident investigations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE software
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures for civil and building projects with a focus on substation and MEP work
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Create and maintain projectspecific safety plans and risk assessments
- Conduct safety training and orientation for all project personnel
- Investigate incidents and accidents and develop corrective and preventive measures
- Ensure all safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) are in good working condition and available for use
- Monitor and report on HSE performance identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Liaise with clients contractors and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with HSE requirements
- Stay updated on relevant HSE regulations and industry best practices and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance
- Promote a positive safety culture among all project personnel
