Job Responsibility
- Manage all aspects of building projects from conception to completion.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site inspections, and evaluation of construction materials.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Review and approve design changes, RFIs, and variations.
- Prepare project reports, documentation, and updates for management.
Candidate Requirements
- UAE/MOFA attested bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Civil Engineer in building high-rise structures, towers, or skysers.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with various stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software and project management tools.
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

1. Advanced Technical Expertise
- Design and Analysis: In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, materials science, and structural analysis. Experience with designing and analyzing infrastructure projects such as highways, bridges, buildings, and drainage systems.
- Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering: Understanding of soil properties and their impact on foundation design, ensuring that the ground conditions support the proposed structures.
- Hydrology and Hydraulics: Knowledge of water flow, drainage systems, flood control, and water treatment infrastructure.
- Construction Materials: Expertise in the selection, testing, and use of construction materials such as concrete, steel, asphalt, and composites.
2. Project Management and Leadership
- Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, including junior engineers, architects, contractors, and other professionals.
- Project Planning and Scheduling: Experience in creating detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines, using tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, and ensuring timely completion.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Ability to develop accurate cost estimates, manage project budgets, and implement cost control measures to prevent overspending.
- Risk Management: Identifying and managing risks to the project’s success, including safety risks, environmental risks, and financial risks.
- Client and Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing client relationships, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with stakeholders such as regulatory bodies, contractors, and suppliers.
3. Regulatory and Compliance Knowledge
- Building Codes and Standards: Thorough knowledge of local, regional, and international building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards (e.g., ISO, AISC, BS, Eurocodes).
- Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE): Strong understanding of construction safety regulations, environmental impact assessments, and sustainable building practices.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring all designs and construction practices meet required quality standards and specifications.
4. Communication and Collaboration
- Reporting: Ability to produce clear and concise technical reports, presentations, and correspondence for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with architects, planners, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure the project’s success.
- Contract Negotiation: Skilled in negotiating contracts with suppliers, contractors, and clients, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with project goals.
