Position: Financial Controller ( Consolidation Specialist)
Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Consolidation Specialist to join one of our reputed clients in the UAE a prominent organization with multiple subsidiaries. This role is pivotal in ensuring precise and compliant financial reporting across the group.
Key Responsibilities:

Consolidation Expertise:
- Utilize your extensive experience in financial consolidation within a group structure to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Managing Submissions:
- Efficiently handle multiple financial submissions from various subsidiaries ensuring precision and adherence to compliance standards.

Statutory Reporting at HQ:
- Oversee statutory reporting in a Headquarter role ensuring all financial statements meet regulatory requirements.

IFRS Knowledge:
- Apply your strong technical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) effectively in financial reporting.

Accounting Memos:
- Prepare and review accounting memos with proficiency demonstrating:
- Deep understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
- Excellent research skills to stay current with accounting regulations.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing complex accounting issues.
- Clear technical writing for articulating accounting issues and recommendations.
- Attention to detail for accurate calculations and references.
- Problemsolving skills to propose practical solutions.
- Familiarity with internal accounting policies and procedures.
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder discussions.
- Knowledge of financial software for enhanced reporting and analysis.
- Understanding of ethical considerations in accounting decisions.
- Ability to collaborate with other departments.
- Prepare and review accounting memos with proficiency demonstrating:

Subsidiary Collaboration:
- Work closely with subsidiary finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with group policies.
Qualifications:
- CA/CPA/ACCA
- Proven experience in financial consolidation within a group structure.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing accounting memos.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
