1. Surveying and Measurements
- Site Surveys: Conducting land surveys to gather data on boundaries, contours, terrain, and any existing infrastructure. This could involve the use of traditional equipment (theodolites, levels) or modern tools such as Total Stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, and 3D Laser Scanners.
- Measuring and Mapping: Producing precise measurements, sketches, and maps of land areas or construction sites. This data is used for planning, designing, and constructing roads, buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.
- Surveying for Construction: Ensuring that construction works are set out according to design specifications, checking the alignment and position of foundations, walls, and structures. This involves on-site checks and updates to ensure that work is completed according to the plans.
- Topographic Surveys: Conducting topographic surveys to map features such as elevations, drainage, vegetation, and existing structures. These surveys are used to create base maps for design and development purposes.
- Boundary Surveys: Conducting property boundary surveys and resolving boundary disputes to ensure clear demarcation of land ownership and legal rights.
2. Project Management and Coordination
- Project Planning and Scheduling: Assisting with project planning and scheduling, ensuring that surveying activities are coordinated and completed in line with the overall project timeline.
