Roles and responsibilities
- Document Review and Support:
- Assist Engineers in reviewing contractor submittal documents, including Shop Drawings, Method Statements, Pre-Qualifications, QA/QC documents, and Materials.
- Ensure the correct revision level and technical accuracy of all submitted documents for proper work execution.
- Construction Inspection:
- Inspect the construction of temporary and permanent structural works, particularly for Bridges and Underpasses, ensuring compliance with approved shop drawings, materials, method statements, contract documents, and relevant codes and standards.
- Monitor and verify conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and code requirements during inspections.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare daily logs and reports, maintaining detailed records of inspections, tests performed, and work executed.
- Ensure that all documentation is in line with the Contract Administration Procedures Manual.
- Project Handover and Final Inspection:
- Assist in the inspection of completed works, prepare punch lists, and monitor the start-up, testing, commissioning, and handover of the works.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a reputed institution.
- 10 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience for review of contractor submittal documents for Bridges / Underpasses / Infrastructure works in the GCC.
- UAE Valid Driving License.
- Ability to perform occasional shift changes from day and night.

- Inspection Techniques: Proficiency in various inspection methods, including visual inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and load testing.

- Inspection Planning: Ability to develop and execute detailed inspection plans for construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Documentation: Skills in maintaining accurate and comprehensive inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
