Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive AI strategies aligned with the government's overall objectives.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of AI-related projects, ensuring they deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Create and manage an AI innovation roadmap, identifying emerging technologies and opportunities.
  • Optimise resource allocation for AI initiatives, balancing budget constraints with strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with government agencies, industry partners, and academic institutions to build strong relationships and support AI adoption.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 8 years in strategic planning and project delivery, with hands-on experience developing and delivering an AI agenda within a large, complex environment.
  • Understanding of the government landscape and the unique challenges and opportunities within the public sector.
  • Passion for driving innovation and exploring new AI applications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex ideas to various audiences.
