Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  • Conduct regular meetings and communications to keep stakeholders informed about asset performance and market conditions.
  • Identify potential investors and institutions for trade finance asset distribution.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the distribution and sale of trade finance assets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of distribution activities.
  • Analyze competitor activities and market conditions to develop competitive strategies.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis.
  • Prepare regular reports on asset performance, market trends, and distribution activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to address any regulatory issues.

The Successful Applicant

  • Education: Recognized bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
  • Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience in banking, finance, or related fields, with a focus on syndicated loans or financial institutions. Prior experience in a relationship management or support role is advantageous.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of syndicated loan structures, financial products, and market dynamics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required; additional languages (e.g., French, Spanish) are a plus.

  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the industry landscape, market trends, and competitors to provide informed advice and support to clients.
