Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

The Successful Applicant

For this role, key criteria:

  • Middle East market exposure / regional remit
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in communications, PR, crisis handling
  • Industry background in financial services (highly desired) or global banking, real estate or financial agencies

Native command over the English language is needed due to ownership of this function and leading a global outlook for our client

  • Strong Writing Skills: Ability to craft clear, engaging press releases, articles, speeches, and other communications tailored to various audiences.

  • Media Relations: Experience in building and maintaining relationships with journalists and media outlets to effectively promote the organization’s message.

  • Strategic Thinking: Skills to develop and execute communication strategies that align with business goals and enhance the organization’s reputation.

  • Crisis Management: Ability to handle communication during crises, crafting appropriate messaging to mitigate damage and restore trust.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong networking abilities to engage with stakeholders, clients, and the public, fostering positive relationships.

  • Analytical Skills: Capability to analyze communication metrics and media coverage, using insights to refine strategies and improve effectiveness.

  • Brand Management: Understanding of how to build and maintain a consistent brand image across various platforms and communications.

  • Social Media Proficiency: Knowledge of social media platforms and strategies to engage audiences and promote content effectively.

  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and communication is consistent.

  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust messaging and strategies based on audience feedback, market trends, and organizational changes.
