About Our Client

Our client is a global leader in sugar trading, with a diversified portfolio that includes various agricultural commodities. Known for their market expertise and strong global presence, they are now venturing into the Middle East with ambitious growth plans.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain relationships with buyers, primarily in the sugar trade but also in other agricultural commodities.
  • Identify market trends, business opportunities, and customer needs within the Middle East region.
  • Negotiate contracts, ensure smooth execution of trades, and manage supply chain operations to deliver to customers.
  • Collaborate closely with the trading team to optimize buying and selling strategies.
  • Monitor global commodity markets, price fluctuations, and competitor activities

The Successful Applicant

  • 2-5 years of trading experience in commodities, ideally in sugar or agri-business.
  • Strong network of buyers or potential clients within the Middle East.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and build long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
