Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end business process transformation initiatives, from assessment and strategy to execution and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to identify process inefficiencies and implement innovative solutions.
  • Develop and implement BPM methodologies, tools, and frameworks, ensuring best practices are followed across the organization.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align process improvement initiatives with broader business objectives and operational goals.
  • Monitor process performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvement by identifying new opportunities for optimization.
  • Mentor and lead a team of BPM professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
  • Serve as the BPM subject matter expert, providing guidance on process architecture, governance, and technology integration.
  • Ensure effective change management strategies are in place to support the adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Oversee process documentation, ensuring processes are clearly defined, standardized, and communicated across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business process management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of BPM frameworks, methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), and process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN).
  • Proven track record of driving business transformation and large-scale process improvement initiatives.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with BPM software and platforms, such as Appian, Pega, or similar, is a plus.
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or related certifications are highly desirable.

  • Change Management: Knowledge of change management principles to effectively implement process improvements and handle resistance.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders, team members, and management.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with BPM software and tools, as well as data analysis and reporting tools.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions to process-related challenges.

  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure that processes are accurately documented and followed.

  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: A commitment to continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile.
