Design Proficiency: Experience using engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PDMS, or CAE tools) for creating detailed designs and models of static equipment.
Analysis Skills: Proficiency in performing stress analysis, fatigue analysis, and failure mode effects analysis (FMEA) to ensure equipment integrity and reliability.
Project Management: Ability to manage projects from conception to completion, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources effectively.
Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards to ensure compliance throughout the design and operational phases.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues that arise during design, construction, or operation.
Documentation Skills: Proficiency in preparing and reviewing technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and engineering calculations.
Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, piping, and process engineers, to ensure integrated project execution.
Quality Assurance: Understanding of quality management processes to ensure that static equipment designs meet required performance and safety standards.
Mentorship and Leadership: Experience mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance, fostering a culture of learning and development within the team.
