Guest Services: Assisting guests with check-ins, check-outs, and addressing any inquiries or concerns during the night.
Staff Supervision: Managing night staff, including receptionists, security personnel, and housekeeping, ensuring they perform their duties effectively.
Security Oversight: Ensuring the safety and security of guests and the property, responding to any incidents or emergencies.
Operational Management: Overseeing all hotel operations during the night, including monitoring facilities, services, and maintenance issues.
Problem-Solving: Addressing guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively, often without immediate management support.
Reporting: Preparing reports on night activities, occupancy rates, and any incidents for the management team.
Financial Transactions: Handling cash, credit card transactions, and balancing accounts for the night shift.
Policy Enforcement: Ensuring that hotel policies and procedures are followed during the night.
Communication: Liaising with day staff to ensure a smooth transition and communicate any important updates or issues.
