Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee the daily activities of the Procurement section.
- Respond to procurement requisitions promptly and provide timely feedback to relevant stakeholders.
- Review compare and analyze purchase options recommending the best choices for approval.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of purchases and pricing.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and agreements.
- Maintain and update supplier information including qualifications delivery times product offerings and performance.
- Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.
- Research and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure they meet the companys requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Diploma in Procurement & Contract Management Purchasing & Supplies Management or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 3 years of experience as a Procurement Officer particularly in the IT industry.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High level of integrity and honesty.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively under strict deadlines.
