Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

We are currently seeking an experienced Insurance Coordinator to join our team. As an Insurance Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of insurance operations, ensuring that policies and claims are handled efficiently and accurately. You will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication between clients, insurance companies, and the internal team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee insurance policies, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations
  • Process and analyze insurance claims, verifying coverage and determining appropriate payments
  • Coordinate with insurance providers to resolve any issues or discrepancies
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and support
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance policies and regulations
  • Review and audit insurance documents and records for accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with the development and implementation of insurance strategies and initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, insurance, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in insurance operations or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple insurance files, documents, and claims efficiently.

  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in data entry, documentation, and policy management.

  • Knowledge of Insurance Policies: Understanding various types of insurance products, terms, and coverage options.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Identifying and addressing discrepancies in claims or policy information effectively.

  • Time Management: Prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines for claims processing and policy renewals.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with insurance software and databases for managing records and claims.

  • Compliance Knowledge: Understanding relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the insurance industry.

  • Team Collaboration: Working effectively with other departments and professionals to ensure comprehensive client support.
