Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Genuine service personality, with high EQ.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma is required/ College degree in Hotel Management or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of one-year experience in a similar position in a 5-star hospitality company.
  • A strong command of both written and spoken English is required; additional language is an asset.
  • Conduct all operational tasks in Housekeeping, while living up to service standards and procedures.
  • Go the extra (s)mile where you can.
  • Prevent complaints and ensure adequate service recovery where needed.
  • Pro-actively communicate with fellow Ambassadors, always with the guests interests at heart.
  • Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly and address their inquiries or concerns related to housekeeping services.
  • Room Inspections: Assist in inspecting guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.
  • Service Coordination: Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely and efficient room cleaning and maintenance.
  • Promoting Services: Inform guests about available housekeeping services, such as laundry, turndown service, and special requests.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather guest feedback on their stay and housekeeping services to relay to management for continuous improvement.
  • Support and Training: Assist in training new housekeeping staff on service standards and procedures.
  • Essential Skills:

  • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal skills for engaging effectively with guests and team members.
  • Customer Service Orientation: A friendly and approachable demeanor focused on enhancing guest satisfaction.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for cleanliness and organization, ensuring high standards are met.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to address guest requests and issues promptly and effectively.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work well with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
