Roles and responsibilities
- Minimum Certification in Maintenance Engineering or related Technical field.
- Minimum of 1 -2 years’ experience in a similar position in a 5-star hospitality company.
- Good knowledge of preventive maintenance of Hotel assets.
- Conduct all operational tasks in the Engineering department in line with required service standards and procedures.
- Go the extra (s)mile where you can.
- Prevent complaints and ensure adequate service recovery where needed.
- Pro-actively communicate with fellow Ambassadors, always with the Guest’s interests at heart.

Desired candidate profile
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, to ensure all room facilities are in working order.
- Room Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms to identify and address any issues, ensuring a high level of comfort and safety for guests.
- Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve problems reported by guests or staff, ensuring minimal disruption to their experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with housekeeping and front office teams to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring that tools and materials are readily available for tasks.
- Guest Interaction: Occasionally interact with guests to address concerns related to room issues, providing courteous and efficient service.
