Roles and responsibilities
- Formulate and execute strategies for cleaning and waste management services that align with organizational goals and sustainability initiatives.
- Establish and update policies and procedures for soft services to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Oversee the budget for soft services, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising on service quality.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions and best practices in the field of facility management, particularly in cleaning and waste disposal.
- Ensure that all soft services are delivered efficiently and effectively, meeting the set standards.
- Regularly analyze and optimize workflows for increased efficiency in Soft Service management processes.
- Prepare status reports of site condition and improvement initiatives.
- Manage contracts with external service providers, ensuring they fulfil their contractual obligations and deliver high-quality services.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to assess the quality of services and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans for soft services.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and health regulations; prepare and submit relevant reports to higher management.
- Champion the adoption of sustainable and environmentally friendly cleaning and waste disposal practices. develop and implement waste reduction and recycling.
- Generate detailed reports on the performance and efficiency of Soft-services and maintain comprehensive records of all operational activities, audits.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure a steady supply of necessary materials and equipment and monitor and control inventory costs while ensuring the availability of quality supplies.
- Oversee the proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste materials.
- Managing and monitoring the quality of execution and performance of related service providers (pest control, Waste Management, custodial and high-level cleaning, landscaping)
- Ensuring contracted volume and scope of works stated in Annual Maintenance contract is delivered in full amount, addressing the in-compliance or bad performance.
- Monitoring contractor’s KPI and acting in case of low performance.
- Reviewing and finalizing the contracts and scope of work related to Soft services.
- Conducting verification inspections of completed works. Ensuring all activities performed comply with local laws, statutory regulations, and relevant codes.
About you:
The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:
- Minimum 2-year experience in soft services in relevant industries.
- Should have experience in handling third party services for cleaning, waste management, land scaping and HSE.
- Team management experience
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations in waste management and soft services
- Good communication skills
