Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neurologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of neurological disorders and diseases including their diagnosis treatment and management. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a cuttingedge medical environment providing care to a diverse patient population with various neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose treat and manage disorders of the nervous system including the brain spinal cord and peripheral nerves.
- Provide care for patients with conditions such as epilepsy multiple sclerosis Parkinson s disease migraines stroke and Alzheimer s disease.
- Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests such as MRI CT scans EEGs EMGs and lumbar punctures.
- Develop individualized treatment plans including medications therapies and when necessary surgical interventions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neurosurgeons physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Stay uptodate on advancements in neurology and incorporate evidencebased practices into patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on neurological conditions and the importance of adherence to treatment plans.
- Participate in the hospital s quality improvement programs and contribute to the development of protocols for the treatment of neurological disorders.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Neurology.
- Valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license to practice in Dubai or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in neurology postspecialization.
- Proficiency in interpreting and utilizing advanced diagnostic technologies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide compassionate care to patients and families.
