Roles and responsibilities
The marketing lead is responsible for executing the marketing strategy and plan defined in the business plan. The role is required to develop and execute marketing campaigns for the company's products, focusing on lead generation and supporting the sales function. It needs to ensure overall alignment of the campaigns with the business goals and overarching policies and procedures for marketing activities.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business goals, including market penetration, brand positioning, and revenue growth in line with the Group mission.
- Establish clear marketing priorities and measurable objectives for all campaigns and identify and target specific customer segments within the overall strategy
- Monitor relevant competitor’s activities and analyze the marketing trend.
- Oversee day-to-day marketing operations and coordinate with various other marketing functions (including shared services) and marketing vendors to drive campaign execution.
- Ensure adherence to Group Marketing Policies and Procedures for all activities.
- Manage marketing services administration through collaboration with cross-functional support teams like finance, legal and IT.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring all spending is within approved parameters, justified and efficient.
- Plan and prepare advertising and promotional material to increase sales of products or services, working with customers, group marketing, company officials, sales departments, and advertising agencies.
- Develop and implement lead generation campaigns, including email marketing, digital advertising, and content marketing.
- Collaborate with product management and sales teams to understand product features, benefits, and competitive advantages to effectively communicate to target audiences.
- Utilize marketing automation tools and CRM systems to optimize campaign performance, track ROI, and nurture leads through the sales funnel.
- Coordinate participation in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate qualified leads.
- Develop booth strategies, promotional materials, and presentations to effectively showcase products and engage with prospects and customers.
- Provide sales team with marketing support, including lead generation activities, customer insights, and competitive positioning strategies.
- Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand.
- Set clear objectives and measurement metrics for all marketing campaigns that align with the business and group objectives.
- Analyze the impact of marketing campaigns and prepare measurement reports.
Desired candidate profile
- Minimum Bachelor's degree. Marketing Specialization is preferred
Experience
- 7 – 9 years exp, last 4 years should be commerical vehicle experience in reputed organization
- Related Industry experience is essential
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform via written, oral, visual and social media
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, lead generation strategies, and sales support.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and ecosystem. Data-driven decision-making approach and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to create standard marketing plans and drop schedules and calendars.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, content creation, SEO, SEM would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of target customer, industry, territory, etc.
- Proficient in English language (Verbal and written), Arabic or other regionally spoken languages would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, usage of reporting tools like excel, power BI, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
