You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe College of Business Administration (CBA) at Ajman University, has an opening for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance, starting in Spring 2023 or Fall 2024. The selected candidate will have primary teaching and research interests in Finance and will be expected to teach in graduate and undergraduate programs. The selected candidate will also be expected to actively engage with the business community. The College of Business Administration is accredited by AACSB.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
Familiarity with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) and accounting principles.

Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in data entry and financial reporting.
Good organizational and time management abilities.
Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Customer service orientation for internal and external communications.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Basic understanding of financial regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities:
Assist with daily financial operations, including invoicing and reconciliations.
Prepare financial reports and summaries.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
