Our client a leading Digital & Social Media Agency is seeking a Associate Director Social Media to lead social media team and oversee all social media activities. The role involves creating and executing social media strategies across various platforms to ensure client brands are effectively represented and engaged with their audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with clients marketing goals and brand identities.
- Oversee the creation of engaging and innovative content including graphics videos and copy tailored for various social media platforms.
- Manage community relationships by responding to inquiries and fostering positive engagement with fans and followers.
- Analyze social media performance metrics generate reports and use insights to optimize strategies and content.
- Collaborate with internal teams including marketing PR and creative to ensure cohesive messaging and campaigns.
- Stay updated on industry trends emerging platforms and competitor activities to maintain fresh and relevant strategies.
- Lead mentor and provide support to junior social media staff to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in social media management pref. within the Retail FMCG & CPG indsutries.
- Proven success in developing social media campaigns and driving engagement.
- Experience managing a team in an agency environment.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms tools and analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for sports and entertainment with a deep understanding of industry dynamics.
