Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with over 7 years of experience in the banking domain particularly in Banking Operations such as Trade Finance Remittances and Clearing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile project methodologies and will leverage their expertise in Finacle and BPM tools to drive operational efficiencies and enhance business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Requirements Gathering: Lead the elicitation documentation and management of business requirements from stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Agile Project Participation: Collaborate with crossfunctional Agile teams to deliver projects on time facilitating sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze and optimize Banking Operations processes identifying inefficiencies and proposing actionable solutions in areas like Trade Finance Remittances and Clearing.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with stakeholders across departments ensuring their needs are met and expectations are managed throughout project lifecycles.
  • System Design and Implementation: Work closely with IT teams to design develop and implement solutions that enhance operational capabilities using Finacle and BPM systems.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to monitor performance metrics assess the impact of changes and support decisionmaking processes.
  • Training and Documentation: Create comprehensive training materials and conduct sessions to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all operational changes comply with banking regulations and internal policies identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration Information Technology or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
  • 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking sector with a strong focus on Banking Operations (Trade Finance Remittances Clearing).
  • Proven experience working in Agile project environments with a deep understanding of Agile principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with Finacle banking software and BPM tools is highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of effectively engaging stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in process mapping and improvement methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CBAP PMIPBA Agile certifications) are a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization and analysis tools.
