General Manager Commodities

As the General Manager for Commodities International in Dubai you will oversee the overall operations and strategic direction of the Commodities division. Youll lead a team of professionals to drive business growth and profitability ensure regulatory compliance and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the strategic business plan for the Commodities division in line with overall objectives.
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities and partnerships to drive business growth.
• Manage the financial performance of the division ensuring profitability targets are met or exceeded.
• Oversee the development and implementation of efficient operational processes and procedures.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the team fostering a positive and highperformance culture.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers suppliers regulatory authorities and industry associations.
• Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisionmaking.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the commodities industry with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze complex financial data.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic thinker with sound business decisionmaking abilities.
• Indepth knowledge of the commodities industry including market dynamics regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Strong negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
• Fluency in English; French is an advantage.
