Job Description
Job Title: CMM Operator
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CMM Operator with experience using the Hexagon model and PCDMIS software to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of handson experience in the field and a solid background in mechanical engineering along with certifications like AWS/CSWIP and ASNT NDT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and program the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) specifically the Hexagon model using PCDMIS software.
- Perform inspections and measurements using various equipment such as surface plates micrometers height gauges radius gauges bore gauges and dial indicators.
- Interpret and analyze inspection data to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Work closely with the quality and engineering teams to resolve any issues related to measurement and inspection.
- Maintain and update records of inspection results and documentation.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering with certifications in AWS/CSWIP and ASNT NDT.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in CMM operation and programming specifically with Hexagon and PCDMIS software.
- Skills: Extensive knowledge of inspection measuring equipment proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and problemsolving abilities.
