Job Description
We are seeking a skilled AWP Technician to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe maintenance repair and troubleshooting of various Aerial Work Platforms (AWP) and associated equipment including mechanical hydraulic diesel and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Build and maintain positive customer relations through professional interactions.
- Safely perform maintenance and repairs on AWP equipment including mechanical hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues perform preventive maintenance and attend to equipment breakdowns.
- Install repair and calibrate mechanical hydraulic and electrical components.
- Dismantle inspect and replace defective parts as needed.
- Operate test and calibrate equipment using tools such as JLG analyzers multimeters and other mechanical testing devices.
- Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics to troubleshoot and resolve faults.
- Lead a team in major repair and maintenance tasks ensuring high standards of work.
- Maintain service vehicles and equipment in a professional and operational state.
- Flexibly respond to changes in job schedules and requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in AWP maintenance and repair.
- Strong understanding of mechanical hydraulic diesel and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills both oral and written.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team when required.
