Job Description
- Educational Background: A bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Professional experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Mechanical engineering, with a focus on designing HVAC for various applications and a Proven track record of successfully completed HVAC engineering projects.
- Proficiency in HVAC modeling software and tools including Revit, Autocad & HAP.
- Experienced in delivering HVAC design. Producing ventilation system design deliverables, i.e., Ventilation Flow Diagrams (VFD’s), Basis of Design (BoD), Plant Sizing Calculations (Heating / Cooling / Fan Sizing) Control Philosophy.
- In-depth knowledge of fluid mechanics, pipe flow, pump selection, and chilled water system design.
- Knowledge of local and international codes and standards related to HVAC engineering.
- Experience ensuring projects comply with relevant regulations and permitting requirements.
- Report writing expertise.
- Commercially Aware: Demonstrates working knowledge of external forces impacting GHD; financial, market, economic, legal and regulatory environments and how GHD responds to them commercially.
- Agile Learner: Actively learns through experimentation and experience and seeks ways to grow and to be challenged by new and novel conditions.
- Client Centric: Anticipates and prioritizes client needs and takes action to provide high-quality client experience.
