Senior Maintenance Technician

• Sr. Cryogenic Services Technician performs installation and maintenance on cryogenic systems throughout the UAE area. Involves Cryogenic tanks, road tankers, ISO tanks for LOX/LIN/LAR/LCO2 gases, Atmospheric Vaporizers, Gas Mixers, Gas Manifolds, Gas Piping, etc.
• Must be able to perform fabrication of various items using threaded pipe, brazed copper, compression fitting stainless, welded steel, brazed bronze, etc. Willing to train a motivated individual
• Ability to travel anytime to customer sites for attending service/breakdown on a priority basis.
  
  

Job Responsibilities

• Day-to-day responsibility for the management, safe operation, and regular maintenance of the liquid TANK installations & road tanker including road tanker, ISO tanks, bulk storage vessels, associated pipework, and manifolds. Identifying & rectifying faults when they occur.
• Servicing and operation of vacuum pumps in the Department. Maintaining service records, ordering spares, and service parts.
• Perform hands-on commissioning, troubleshooting, service, and repair of cryogenic tanks, pumps, and related equipment for the LOX,LIN, LAR,LCO2, and industrial gases.
• Provide high-level technical support to customers at their location, handle services and respond to customer queries.
• Provide on-site equipment training to customers; support installation, commissioning, repair, and spare parts management
• Create field service reports and maintain service information.
• Timely and professionally handle field service calls and issues arising from the field service visits
• Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective actions
• Timely completion and submit all required paperwork
• Ability to read prints and schematics 14. Mechanically inclined with good problem-solving skills
• Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to communicate with customers at all levels.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubing, and related equipment, according to specification by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints
• Cut, thread, and hammer pipes to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe threaders and benders.
• Inspect, examine and test installed systems/tankers and pipe lines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing observation, helium leak testing or other methods.
• Modify, clean and maintain pipe system, units, fittings, and related machines and equipment, following specifications and using hand and power tools
• Plan pipe system layout, installation or repair according to specifications
• Assist operation on all customer purging requirements.
• Reports to immediate superior all non-conforming materials and services received for use in his areas or operations and include recommendations for corrections.
• Reports problems encountered for new processes or changes and include suggestions to resolve the same
