- Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans, ensuring all subsea operations are executed efficiently and safely, meeting management specifications and industry standards.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and standards for the subsea operations, including safety protocols, deck configuration and layout, lessons learnt and improvement tracking and closure.
- Ensure all projects adhere to safety, quality, and environmental standards, conducting technical studies and preparing / implementing / executing and closing detailed work procedures to guarantee compliance.
- Calculate time requirements, sequence project elements, and coordinate mobilisation activities to meet project timelines and objectives.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and control project budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency and financial viability of projects.
- Provide specialist technical analysis and advice to management, playing a critical role in securing contracts and facilitating project success.
- Contribute to tender reviews, budgeting, and strategic growth initiatives, providing insights for business development and competitive advantage.
- Lead by example on the safety aspects aligned with company expectations, support the management and contractors.
- Pioneer the development of new concepts for all subsea engineering aspects, maintain an advanced engineering knowledge to establish operational procedures and innovative solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulations affecting subsea operations and incorporate best practices into company operations to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Educational Qualifications
Hold a degree in mechanical or petroleum engineering or ocean engineering
Experience Profile
- Have a minimum of 10 years previous experience as in a similar position with duties including the engagement in diving operations.
- Have experience in leadership or managerial role.
