Job Description
- Lead and manage the commissioning process for instrumentation systems in a project
- Develop and implement commissioning plans and procedures
- Coordinate with project team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth commissioning activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the commissioning phase
- Conduct inspections and tests to verify system functionality and compliance with specifications
- Prepare commissioning reports and documentation
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated commissioning of systems
- Planning, managing and directing activities associated with commissioning and hand-over to the respective Site Operations
- Participates in the preparation and review of commissioning procedures by contractors/ consultants/ vendors and establishes acceptability through liaison with Site Operations for assigned projects
- Responsible for commissioning and hand-over processes for assigned projects
- Ensure the assigned systems are installed, tested and operating safely and efficiently and produce the expected results
- May also be responsible for designing, developing and testing new systems to meet the needs of the customer
- Review / Prepare project deliverables as per project & client requirement
- Regularly provide clear reports to project management
- Effective communication with the design team
- Monitor the closure of all identified risks and opportunities
- Participates in Company Safety Programs ensuring compliance with approved Safety regulations/programs
- Ensure proper implementation of all HSE requirements by contractors in the execution of fabrication, construction, and installation activities
